Getting There

• Walking

  If you're in downtown Lowell, start by heading towards French Street. Look for signs directing you to the Patrick J. Mogan Cultural Center. When you reach the intersection of Merrimack and French Streets, turn onto French Street. Continue walking straight for about 0.3 miles until you see the Cultural Center on your left at 40 French Street. The Lowell Historical Society is located inside this building.

• Public Transit

  If you're near the Lowell Transit Terminal, take the LRTA bus route that heads towards the downtown area. You can board the bus at the Terminal and ask the driver to let you off at the nearest stop to French Street. Once you get off, walk towards French Street and head north for a short distance until you reach the Patrick J. Mogan Cultural Center at 40 French Street, where the Lowell Historical Society is located.

• Biking

  For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike at various locations in downtown Lowell. Once you have your bike, head towards French Street. Ride along Merrimack Street until you reach the intersection with French Street, then turn left. Continue riding on French Street for about 0.3 miles until you arrive at the Cultural Center at 40 French Street, where the Lowell Historical Society is located.
