Walking
If you are starting from the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center located at 246 Market Street, exit the building and head south on Market Street. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Merrimack Street. Turn left onto Merrimack Street. Follow Merrimack Street for about 0.3 miles until you reach a large intersection with Dutton Street. Cross over Dutton Street and continue straight onto Worthen Street. The Whistler House Museum of Art will be on your right at 243 Worthen Street.

From the Gallagher Terminal (which is the main bus terminal in Lowell), take the LRTA Bus Route 1 towards the downtown area. Get off at the stop at Worthen Street and Merrimack Street. From there, walk north on Worthen Street for about 0.2 miles, and you will see the Whistler House Museum of Art at 243 Worthen Street on your left.
