Getting There

    Start at the intersection of Merrimack Street and Dutton Street in downtown Lowell. Head north on Dutton Street towards the intersection with the Western Canal. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with the Lowell Connector. Cross the street safely and follow the signs for the Riverwalk Trail. The Riverwalk will take you along the Merrimack River. Continue on this path until you reach the bridge over the river. Cross the bridge and follow the path that leads towards the North Billerica area. This trail will eventually guide you towards Faulkner Street. Once you reach Faulkner Street, turn left and walk until you see the Middlesex Canal Museum and Visitor Center at 71 Faulkner Street.
