Bus
From your location in Lowell, make your way to the Lowell Transportation Center located at 110 Thorndike Street. Once there, take the MBTA bus route 350 towards Alewife. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the Alewife Station and transfer to the Alewife subway line. Take the subway towards Braintree and get off at Park Street Station. From Park Street, transfer to the Green Line and take the train towards Government Center. Finally, disembark at the Science Park station which is just a short walk from the Museum of Science.

Head to the Lowell train station at 20 Thorndike Street. Board the MBTA Commuter Rail train on the Lowell Line towards North Station in Boston. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at North Station, exit the train and follow signs to the Haymarket exit. From there, walk towards the Charles River Esplanade. Cross over the bridge, and you will reach the Museum of Science, which is about a 10-minute walk from the station.

If you're already near the city center of Lowell, you can take a scenic walk to the train station and then board the MBTA Commuter Rail. Alternatively, if you want to explore more of the city, take a leisurely stroll along the Merrimack River until you reach the Lowell National Historical Park. From there, make your way to the train station at 20 Thorndike Street and follow the train instructions listed above.
