    If you are in downtown Lowell, start at the intersection of Merrimack St and Central St. Head east on Merrimack St for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Suffolk St. Turn left onto Suffolk St and continue for another 0.2 miles. At the next intersection, turn right onto Market St. Follow Market St for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Dutton St. Here, turn left onto Dutton St and continue straight for 0.3 miles, which leads you to the Lowell National Historical Park visitor center on the right. From there, you can take a bus or a train to Salem, MA.

    Public Transportation

    From downtown Lowell, walk to the Lowell Commuter Rail Station located at 2000 Billerica Ave. Purchase a ticket to Salem, MA. The train leaves approximately every 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Salem station, exit the station and head south on Washington St for about 0.4 miles until you reach Essex St. Turn right onto Essex St, and you will find the Narbonne House at 71 Essex St on your left.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental spots in downtown Lowell. Start at the intersection of Merrimack St and Central St and head east on Merrimack St. Continue to follow the bike lanes to the end of Merrimack St where it becomes the Riverwalk path. Follow the path towards the Merrimack River and cross over to the bike lane on the bridge. Continue on the bike lane until you reach the junction with the rail trail leading to Salem. Once you arrive in Salem, use local bike paths to navigate to Essex St and find the Narbonne House.
