From Lowell, head to the Lowell Transportation Center located at 100 Thorndike Street. Board the MBTA bus route 350 towards Salem, which runs frequently throughout the day. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Salem Depot, exit the bus and walk towards Central Street.

You can take the MBTA Commuter Rail from Lowell's train station at 20 Aiken Street. Board the train on the Lowell Line heading towards Boston and transfer at North Station to the Newburyport/Rockport Line. Get off at the Salem Station. The station is about a 15-minute walk from the historical tours' meeting point on Central Street. Head south on Washington Street, then turn left onto Central Street.
