Getting There

• Bus

  From Lowell, head to the Lowell Transportation Center located at 100 Thorndike Street. Board the MBTA bus route 350 towards Salem, which runs frequently throughout the day. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Salem Depot, exit the bus and walk towards Central Street.

• Train

  You can take the MBTA Commuter Rail from Lowell's train station at 20 Aiken Street. Board the train on the Lowell Line heading towards Boston and transfer at North Station to the Newburyport/Rockport Line. Get off at the Salem Station. The station is about a 15-minute walk from the historical tours' meeting point on Central Street. Head south on Washington Street, then turn left onto Central Street.

• Walking

  If you’re nearby in downtown Lowell, you can simply walk to the Salem Historical Witch & Ghost Tours. Start at the intersection of Merrimack Street and Central Street, head northeast on Central Street towards the train station. Follow Central Street for about 15-20 minutes until you reach 8 Central St, Salem, MA 01970.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Lowell. Head southeast on the Merrimack Riverwalk, following the river until you reach the bridge leading to Salem. Continue on the designated bike paths towards Central Street, which will take you directly to the tour location in about 30-40 minutes.
