    From downtown Lowell, walk to the nearest bus stop at Merrimack St and Central St. Take the Lowell Regional Transit Authority (LRTA) bus #1 towards the Gallagher Terminal. Ride the bus for about 30 minutes until you reach the Alewife MBTA station. Transfer to the MBTA subway Red Line towards Ashmont. Travel for 10 stops and get off at Park Street Station. Here, transfer to the Green Line and take the train towards Government Center. Get off at North Station. From North Station, it’s about a 15-minute walk to USS Cassin Young. Head southwest on Causeway St, turn left on Washington St, and then right onto 3rd St.

    From the Lowell MBTA station, board the commuter rail on the Lowell Line towards Boston. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at North Station. Once at North Station, exit the station and walk southwest on Causeway St for about 10 minutes. Turn left onto Washington St, and then right onto 3rd St. The USS Cassin Young will be on your right.

    If you're near the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center, head east on John St towards Dutton St. Turn left onto Dutton St and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Merrimack St. Cross Merrimack St and continue onto Central St. Follow Central St until you reach the bus stop at Merrimack St and Central St. From there, you can take bus #1 towards the Gallagher Terminal and follow the Bus instructions above.
