Start your journey at the Lowell City Hall located at 375 Merrimack St, Lowell, MA. From City Hall, head north on Merrimack St towards Dutton St. After about 0.3 miles, turn left onto Dutton St and continue for about 0.2 miles. You will reach the intersection with W 6th St. Continue straight onto W 6th St for another 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with Pawtucket Blvd. Cross Pawtucket Blvd and continue walking straight. After approximately 0.5 miles, you will turn right onto Varney Ave. Varney Playground will be on your left at 45 Varney Ave, North Chelmsford, MA.

From the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center located at 246 Market St, take the LRTA bus number 15 towards North Chelmsford. Board the bus and stay on for approximately 20 minutes.
