Start at the Lowell Transportation Center located at 113 Middlesex Street, Lowell, MA. Take the MVRTA bus #1 route towards Haverhill. The bus will take you along Route 110. After approximately 20-25 minutes, disembark at the Haverhill City Hall stop. From there, transfer to the MVRTA bus #7 towards Merrimack Valley. Stay on this bus for about 10-15 minutes, and get off at the 'Castle Road' stop, which is the closest stop to Winnekenni Castle. From the bus stop, walk about 0.5 miles up Castle Road to reach Winnekenni Castle.

If you are in the downtown area of Lowell, begin at the Lowell City Hall located at 375 Merrimack Street. Head northeast on Merrimack Street towards the intersection with Dutton Street. Turn left onto Dutton Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Route 110. Cross Route 110 and continue straight to follow Riverside Avenue. After about 1.5 miles, you will reach Haverhill. From Haverhill, follow the directions for the bus transfer to reach Winnekenni Castle.
