Walking
From the center of Lowell, head to the Lowell Connector and follow the signs to the nearest bus stop. Take the MBTA bus #350 towards Boston. The bus ride will take you to the Alewife Station. Once you arrive at Alewife, transfer to the Red Line subway towards Ashmont. Ride the subway to Park Street Station in downtown Boston. From Park Street, exit the subway and walk towards Beacon Hill by heading north on Charles Street. Continue straight until you reach the picturesque streets of Beacon Hill. This area is known for its charming brick sidewalks and historic architecture.
Bus
Board the MBTA bus #350 at any central bus stop in Lowell heading towards Boston. After approximately 30-40 minutes, you will arrive at Alewife Station. From here, switch to the Red Line subway heading towards Ashmont. Travel for about 15 minutes and disembark at Park Street Station. Exit the subway and walk north along Charles Street until you reach Beacon Hill. Keep an eye out for the iconic gas lamps and cobblestone streets as you approach this historic neighborhood.
Train
Make your way to the Lowell Commuter Rail Station located in downtown Lowell. Purchase a ticket for the train heading towards North Station in Boston. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at North Station, follow the signs to the Green Line subway and take the Green Line towards Copley. Get off at Copley Station, and then walk east along Boylston Street to Charles Street. From Charles Street, walk north to explore the enchanting area of Beacon Hill.
