From the Lowell City Hall, head south on Merrimack Street towards Dutton Street. Walk for about 0.4 miles until you reach the Lowell Connector (Route 3). Cross over and take the bus (MBTA Route 350) towards Boston. Get off at the Alewife Station. From Alewife, transfer to the Red Line subway towards Ashmont and get off at Park Street Station. Finally, transfer to the Green Line E train towards Heath Street and get off at the Copley stop. Walk east on Boylston Street for about 0.3 miles until you reach the Central Burying Ground.

From the Lowell Transit Center, board the MBTA Commuter Rail (Lowell Line) towards Boston. Once you arrive at North Station in Boston, exit the train and walk towards the Haymarket subway station. Take the Green Line C train towards Cleveland Circle and get off at the Copley stop. From there, head east on Boylston Street for about 0.3 miles to reach the Central Burying Ground.

If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from one of the local bike-share stations in Lowell. Start by heading south on Merrimack Street and following the bike lanes towards the VFW Highway. Continue on the bike path until you reach the MBTA station. Take the train to Boston as previously described.
