Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Lowell National Historical Park Visitor Center at 246 Market Street, head south on Market Street towards the intersection with Dutton Street. When you reach the intersection, turn left onto Dutton Street. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Bridge Street. Turn right onto Bridge Street, and you will see Jack Kerouac Park on your left at 75 Bridge Street.

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Tsongas Center at UMass Lowell, exit the center and head west on John Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Pawtucket Boulevard. Cross the street, and follow the sidewalk to the right onto Pawtucket Boulevard. After crossing the Merrimack River via the bridge, turn left onto Bridge Street. Jack Kerouac Park will be located on your right at 75 Bridge Street.

• Public Transit

  If you are near the Lowell Transfer Center, board the Lowell City Transit bus number 1, heading towards the Gallagher Terminal. Get off at the Bridge Street stop. Once you disembark, walk down Bridge Street towards the river. Jack Kerouac Park will be located at 75 Bridge Street, just a short walk from the bus stop.

• Walking

  From the Boott Cotton Mills Museum, head east on John Street toward the intersection with Dutton Street. Turn left onto Dutton Street and follow it for about 0.2 miles until you reach Bridge Street. Turn right onto Bridge Street, and Jack Kerouac Park will be on your left at 75 Bridge Street.
