Walking
If you are in downtown Lowell, start by walking towards the Lowell Connector. Head southeast on Merrimack Street toward Dutton Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Lowell Connector. From there, take the MBTA bus #1 towards Boston. Make sure to pay the fare upon boarding. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and it will take you directly into Boston. Once you arrive at the Haymarket bus station, exit the bus and walk towards the northwest on Blackstone Street. Continue onto Washington Street and then turn left onto Tremont Street. The Parkman Bandstand will be on your right at 139 Tremont St.

From the Lowell Commuter Rail Station, take the MBTA train on the Lowell Line towards Boston. The ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Disembark at North Station. From North Station, follow the signs to the Haymarket bus terminal. Once there, take the MBTA bus #1 towards Boston. Stay on for a few stops and get off at the Tremont Street stop. Walk a short distance northeast on Tremont Street, and you will find the Parkman Bandstand at 139 Tremont St.
