Once you arrive at the Nantucket ferry terminal, you can either walk or take a bike rental or taxi.

From the Nantucket ferry terminal (known as the Nantucket Boat Basin), exit the terminal and head east on Easy St. Continue straight until you reach Main St. Turn left onto Main St and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will pass various shops and cafes along the way. Keep walking straight until you reach India St. Turn right onto India St, and the Nantucket Atheneum will be on your left at 1 India St. The total walking distance is approximately 1 mile.
