Check the VTA schedule to find the next bus heading towards the ferry terminal in Oak Bluffs or Vineyard Haven. Once you arrive at either terminal, take the ferry to Woods Hole on the mainland. After disembarking the ferry, wait for the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority bus (Route 7) towards Sandwich. Get off at the stop closest to 103 Wood Ave. The Sandwich Boardwalk is a short walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Martha's Vineyard. Start your ride towards the ferry terminal (either Oak Bluffs or Vineyard Haven). Take the ferry to Woods Hole. Once you arrive in Woods Hole, follow the bike path towards Sandwich, which is about 6 miles away. Follow signs for the Sandwich Boardwalk, and park your bike in the designated area upon arrival.
