If you're driving from Framingham, head north on Route 9. Merge onto I-495 N via the ramp on the left toward Lowell. Continue for approximately 20 miles, then take exit 28 for MA-2 W toward Gardner. Stay on MA-2 W for about 10 miles, then take exit 54 for Walden St. Turn left onto Walden St, and you'll find Walden Pond State Reservation on your right at 915 Walden St, Concord, MA 01742.
Public Transportation
Start your journey at the South Acton Train Station. Take the MBTA Fitchburg Line train towards North Station. Get off the train at Concord Station. Once there, you can catch the Concord Bus Route 62 towards Walden Pond. The bus will take you directly to the entrance of Walden Pond State Reservation, located at 915 Walden St, Concord, MA 01742.
Car
From Weston, take I-95 N to I-90 W (Mass Pike) and merge onto I-495 N. Continue on I-495 N for about 11 miles. Take exit 28 for MA-2 W toward Gardner. Follow MA-2 W for approximately 10 miles, then take exit 54 for Walden St. Turn left onto Walden St, and in a short distance, you'll see Walden Pond State Reservation on your right.
Public Transportation
Begin at the Alewife station on the Alewife-Medford line. Take the MBTA Red Line towards Ashmont and transfer at Park Street to the Green Line towards Lechmere. Get off at Haymarket and transfer to the commuter rail on the Fitchburg Line. Ride the train to Concord Station, then take the Concord Bus Route 62 to Walden Pond State Reservation at 915 Walden St, Concord, MA 01742.
