Car
From Mohawk Trail State Forest, head southeast on MA-2 E. Continue on MA-2 E for about 10 miles until you reach the junction with US-7 S. Take the exit on the left onto US-7 S toward Pittsfield. After approximately 7 miles, take a right onto MA-8 S. Continue on MA-8 S for about 5 miles. Turn left onto Rockwell Rd, and follow it for 1 mile. Mount Greylock State Reservation will be on your right at 30 Rockwell Rd, Lanesborough, MA 01237.
Public Transportation
From Mohawk Trail State Forest, you will first need to get to a nearby town with public transportation options, such as North Adams or Pittsfield. You can take a taxi or rideshare service to North Adams (approximately 15 miles). From North Adams, take a bus (Berkshire Regional Transit Authority) to Pittsfield. In Pittsfield, transfer to another bus heading towards Lanesborough. Once you are in Lanesborough, you may need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Mount Greylock State Reservation at 30 Rockwell Rd. Please check local bus schedules for exact timings and potential fares.
