From the center of Mohawk Trail State Forest, head southeast on Mohawk Trail (Route 2) towards Charlemont. Continue on Route 2 for approximately 9 miles until you reach the junction with Route 112. Take a left onto Route 112 and follow it for about 3 miles. After that, turn right onto Main Street and continue for a short distance until you reach Depot Street. Turn left onto Depot Street. The Shelburne Falls Trolley Museum will be on your right at 14 Depot St, Shelburne Falls, MA 01370. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
If you're using public transportation, you will first need to take a bus from the nearest major town, Greenfield, MA. Look for the Franklin Regional Transit Authority (FRTA) buses that service the area. Take the bus towards Shelburne Falls. Once you arrive in Shelburne Falls, you can walk to the museum located at 14 Depot St, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Be sure to check the FRTA schedule for bus times and any potential costs, which may be around $1.50 for a one-way ticket.
