Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from a central location in Mohawk Trail, head southeast on the Mohawk Trail (Route 2) for approximately 10 miles, then merge onto I-91 South. Continue on I-91 for about 5 miles, taking exit 27 toward Turners Falls. After exiting, turn right onto Avenue A. The Great Falls Discovery Center will be on your left at 2 Avenue A, Turners Falls, MA 01376. Parking is available nearby, and be sure to check for any parking fees that may apply.

• Public Transportation

  If you're using public transportation, you can take the Franklin Regional Transit Authority (FRTA) bus service. Check the FRTA schedule for bus routes that connect to Turners Falls. Once you arrive at the Turners Falls bus stop, walk south on Avenue A for about 0.3 miles. The Great Falls Discovery Center will be on your left at 2 Avenue A. Be aware that bus services may have limited hours, so plan your visit accordingly.

• Walking

  If you're already in Turners Falls and prefer walking, you can reach the Great Falls Discovery Center by heading south on Avenue A. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the downtown area. Simply follow Avenue A until you see the center on the left at 2 Avenue A. This is a pleasant walk that allows you to enjoy the local scenery.
