To reach Mount Grace State Forest by car from Mohawk Trail, start on MA-2 E and travel towards Greenfield. Merge onto US-5 S and continue to follow MA-2 E for approximately 14 miles. Take the exit toward MA-78 S, and merge onto MA-78 S. Follow MA-78 S for about 5 miles until you reach Winchester Rd. Turn left onto Winchester Rd, and in less than a mile, you'll find Mount Grace State Forest on your right. There is no entrance fee for the forest, but be sure to check for any parking fees at designated areas.
