From Mohawk Trail, head south on Route 2. Continue for about 7 miles until you reach South Deerfield. Take the exit for Sugarloaf St. Turn right onto Sugarloaf St and continue for approximately 1 mile. The entrance to Mount Sugarloaf State Reservation will be on your left at 300 Sugarloaf St, South Deerfield, MA 01373. There is a parking fee of $5 for non-residents, so be sure to bring cash.

If you are using public transportation, you can take the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) bus route that services the area. Check the PVTA schedule for the latest routes to South Deerfield. Once you arrive at the South Deerfield bus stop, walk approximately 0.5 miles east along Sugarloaf St to reach the entrance of Mount Sugarloaf State Reservation at 300 Sugarloaf St. Note that the bus fare is around $1.50.
