Walking
If you're starting from the center of Nantucket, head south on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Broad Street, then take a left onto Broad Street. Follow Broad Street until it merges into South Water Street. Stay on South Water Street until you see a sign for Children's Beach. Turn right onto Harbor View Way, and you'll find Children's Beach Playground located at 15 Harbor View Way. The playground is a short walk from the beach, and it's well-marked.
Biking
From the Nantucket Town area, rent a bike and head south on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach Broad Street, where you will take a left. Ride down Broad Street, which will lead you to South Water Street. Follow South Water Street along the water until you reach the sign for Children's Beach. Turn right onto Harbor View Way, and you'll arrive at Children's Beach Playground at 15 Harbor View Way. Biking is a great way to enjoy the views along the waterfront.
Public Transportation
While Nantucket does not have extensive public transportation, you can use the Nantucket Regional Transit Authority (NRTA) shuttle service. Board the NRTA shuttle at any of the main stops in town that head towards Children's Beach. Request to get off at the stop closest to Children's Beach, then walk the remaining distance along Harbor View Way to reach the playground at 15 Harbor View Way. Make sure to check the shuttle schedule for the latest times.
