To reach Edgartown Harbor Lighthouse from New Bedford, start by taking the Peter Pan Bus Lines from the New Bedford Bus Terminal. Board a bus heading to Woods Hole. The journey typically takes around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Upon arrival at Woods Hole, transfer to the ferry service that operates to Edgartown. The ferry takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Edgartown ferry terminal, exit the terminal and walk north on North Water Street. The Edgartown Harbor Lighthouse will be on your right at 121 N Water St.

If you're near the waterfront in New Bedford, you can start your trip by taking a scenic walk towards the New Bedford Harbor. Look for the ferry service that operates to Martha's Vineyard. Board the ferry heading to Oak Bluffs, which takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Oak Bluffs, use the VTA bus service that connects various towns on the island. Take the bus towards Edgartown and disembark at the nearest stop to North Water Street. From there, walk north on North Water Street until you reach Edgartown Harbor Lighthouse located at 121 N Water St.
