From New Bedford, head to the nearest bus stop at the New Bedford Bus Terminal located at 134 Union St. Take the Peter Pan Bus Lines service towards Providence. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Providence Bus Terminal, exit the terminal and walk towards the intersection of Exchange St and Memorial Blvd. From there, catch the R-Line bus towards Pawtucket. Get off at the stop at North Main St and South Water St, which is a short walk from the RISD Museum.

Start at the New Bedford train station located at 29 S 2nd St. Catch the MBTA commuter rail to Providence. The ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Providence Station, exit the station and walk to the nearby bus stop at 1 Amtrak Way. Take the R-Line bus towards Pawtucket. Disembark at the North Main St and South Water St stop. The RISD Museum will be a short walk from there.
