    If you are starting from downtown New Bedford, walk south on Purchase Street until you reach the intersection with S Rodney French Blvd. Turn left onto S Rodney French Blvd. Continue walking for about 1.5 miles. You'll pass by the New Bedford Harbor and some beautiful waterfront views. Keep walking straight until you see the entrance to Fort Taber Park on your left at 1000C S Rodney French Blvd.

    From downtown New Bedford, head to the nearest bus stop on Purchase Street and take the 'NBSR' bus towards the South Terminal. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes until you reach the stop closest to Fort Taber Park, which is at the intersection of S Rodney French Blvd and the park entrance. After you get off, walk a short distance towards the waterfront, and you'll find Fort Taber Park on your right.

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in downtown New Bedford. Head south on Purchase Street, then turn left onto S Rodney French Blvd. Follow the bike lane along the road for approximately 1.5 miles. You will pass scenic views along the waterfront.
