Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the New Bedford Whaling Museum, head south on Johnny Cake Hill and turn left onto William Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Purchase Street, where you'll turn right. Follow Purchase Street until you reach the corner of Sycamore Street. Turn left onto Sycamore Street, and the New Bedford Armory will be on your left at 5 Sycamore St.

• Walking

  From the downtown area, start at the corner of Acushnet Avenue and Elm Street. Head west on Elm Street until you reach the intersection with North Water Street. Turn right onto North Water Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Sycamore Street. Turn left onto Sycamore Street and walk straight. The New Bedford Armory will be on your right at 5 Sycamore St.

• Public Transit

  If you are near the New Bedford Bus Terminal, take the Route 2 bus towards the North End. Get off at the stop at Sycamore Street and Acushnet Avenue. From there, walk down Sycamore Street heading towards the water. The New Bedford Armory will be located at 5 Sycamore St, just a short walk down the street.
