Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from downtown Newburyport and head south on State Street towards High Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with High Street. Turn left onto High Street. Coffin House will be on your left at 14 High St, Newbury, MA 01951. Parking is available on the street, but be sure to check the signs for any parking restrictions.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Coffin House via public transportation, take the MBTA Commuter Rail from Boston to the Newburyport Station. Alternatively, if you prefer walking, it is about a 20-minute walk (approximately 1 mile). Exit the train station and head northwest on Parker Street, continuing on to State Street.   If you are biking, you can follow the bike routes in Newburyport. From the center of Newburyport, head towards State Street and then take a left onto High Street. There are bike racks available near Coffin House for you to secure your bicycle.

  If you are already in Newburyport and wish to walk to Coffin House, start from the waterfront area and head north on State Street. Continue straight until you reach High Street and turn left. Coffin House will be on your left at 14 High St, Newbury, MA 01951. This walk is approximately 0.5 miles and should take about 10-15 minutes.
