Follow Route 1 for about 2 miles, then turn right onto Plum Island Turnpike. Continue on Plum Island Turnpike until you reach the Plum Island Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the road until it ends at the parking area near the lighthouse. Note that there may be a small parking fee when you arrive.
