Car
If you are traveling by car, use Route 127 to reach Ocean St in Manchester-by-the-Sea. From the center of town, head southeast on Union St toward Route 127. Turn right onto Route 127 and continue for about 2 miles until you reach Ocean St. Turn left onto Ocean St. You will find parking along the street. Be aware that parking may be limited during peak tourist season.
Public Transportation
To reach Ocean St via public transportation, take the MBTA commuter rail from Boston’s North Station on the Rockport Line. You will need to disembark at the Manchester-By-The-Sea station. From the station, it's approximately a mile walk to Ocean St. Head southeast on Union St, then turn right onto Route 127, and finally turn left onto Ocean St. Alternatively, consider using a rideshare service from the train station to your destination if walking is not preferred.
Biking
For those who prefer biking, there are bike paths along Route 127. You can rent a bike from local shops in town. From the center of Manchester-by-the-Sea, head towards Route 127 and follow the bike paths that lead you to Ocean St. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local biking laws.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity and prefer walking, you can easily reach Ocean St from nearby areas. For example, if you are near the town center, simply walk southeast on Union St, take a right onto Route 127 and then a left onto Ocean St. It's a pleasant walk, but ensure you are wearing comfortable shoes.
