    From the center of Provincetown, head southeast on Commercial Street towards the intersection with Standish Street. Turn left onto Standish Street and continue until you reach the end where it meets Bradford Street. Turn right onto Bradford Street and walk towards the Provincetown Public Library. After passing the library, continue walking until you reach the intersection with Shank Painter Road. Here, you can catch a shuttle bus to Cape Cod National Seashore.

    Once you reach Shank Painter Road, look for the shuttle bus stop. The Cape Cod National Seashore shuttle operates during the summer months, providing convenient transport to various locations within the Seashore. Board the shuttle and inform the driver of your destination within the Seashore. The ride will take you directly to Wellfleet, Massachusetts, which is the nearest access point to Cape Cod National Seashore.

  • Biking

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Provincetown. Once you have your bike, head east on Commercial Street, then turn left onto Standish Street. Continue onto Bradford Street, following it until you reach Shank Painter Road. From there, follow the bike path which leads towards Wellfleet and the Cape Cod National Seashore.
