Getting There

Walking
From the center of Provincetown, head north on Commercial Street toward the intersection with Bradford Street. Continue straight onto Shank Painter Road, which will lead you out of town. Follow Shank Painter Road until you reach the intersection with Route 6. Cross carefully and continue straight on the bike path that runs parallel to Route 6. After approximately 1.5 miles, look for signs indicating the entrance to the Pilgrim Spring Trail on your left. The trailhead is located just off the bike path.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the center of Provincetown and ride north on Commercial Street until you reach the intersection with Bradford Street. Continue straight onto Shank Painter Road. Follow Shank Painter Road until you reach Route 6. Once you reach Route 6, take the bike path that runs alongside it heading north.
