Getting There

Walking
Start from the center of Provincetown, at the intersection of Commercial Street and Lopes Square. Head northeast on Commercial Street towards the Provincetown Inn. Continue walking along Commercial Street for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Bradford Street. Turn left onto Bradford Street and walk for another 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 6. At this point, you will see a bus stop for the Outer Cape Transit Authority (OCTA) shuttle.

Public Transit
Take the OCTA shuttle (Route 2) from the bus stop at Bradford Street. The shuttle will take you directly to North Truro. Stay on the shuttle for about 15-20 minutes. The driver will announce the stops, and you should get off at the High Head Beach stop. From there, it’s a short walk (about 0.2 miles) to the beach access point. Follow the signs leading to High Head Beach.

If you have access to a bike, you can bike from Provincetown to North Truro. Start at Lopes Square and head northeast on Commercial Street. Continue for about 1 mile and then turn left onto Bradford Street. After 0.5 miles, turn left onto Route 6. There is a bike path along Route 6 that leads to North Truro.
