Start at the center of Provincetown, at the intersection of Commercial Street and Bradford Street. Head east on Commercial Street, which is the main thoroughfare. Continue walking along Commercial Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the end of the street at the beach. From here, you can see the water ahead. Follow the beach path north, keeping the water on your right, until you reach the Provincetown Harbor. Walk along the harbor until you reach the Long Point ferry terminal, which is located at the end of the pier. Purchase a ticket for the Long Point ferry, which operates seasonally. Once aboard, enjoy the scenic ride across the harbor to Long Point Light Station. The ferry ride takes approximately 20 minutes. When you arrive at Long Point, follow the marked paths to reach the lighthouse.
Biking
If you have rented a bike, start from the center of Provincetown at Commercial Street and Bradford Street. Head east on Commercial Street and continue straight for about 0.5 miles. You will then reach the beach. Follow the bike path along the beach and the water's edge. The path will take you towards the Provincetown Harbor. Once you reach the harbor, you will find the Long Point ferry terminal at the end of the pier. Park your bike at the designated area and buy a ticket for the ferry. After a short 20-minute ferry ride, you will arrive at Long Point Light Station. Upon disembarking, follow the paths leading to the lighthouse.
