To reach Salem from Quincy using public transportation, start by walking to the nearest MBTA bus stop. Take the bus route 210 towards the Braintree Station. Once you arrive at Braintree Station, transfer to the Red Line subway toward Alewife. Travel to the Downtown Crossing station, where you will transfer to the Orange Line towards Oak Grove. Get off at Haymarket Station. From there, walk to the North Station and take the MBTA commuter rail towards Lowell or Haverhill, and get off at Salem Station. Once at Salem Station, you can explore the area on foot as many attractions are nearby.
