    From Quincy Center Station, take the MBTA Red Line towards Alewife. Get off at Alewife Station and transfer to the MBTA Commuter Rail on the Newburyport/Rockport Line towards Rockport. Get off at Salem Station. From Salem Station, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Howard Street Cemetery. Head northwest on Washington Street, turn right onto Derby Street, and then left onto Howard Street. The cemetery will be on your right.

    From Quincy Adams Station, board the MBTA Red Line train towards Alewife. Travel to South Station and transfer to the MBTA Commuter Rail on the Newburyport/Rockport Line towards Rockport. Disembark at Salem Station. Once you arrive, head northwest on Washington Street, then continue onto Derby Street, and make a left on Howard Street. The cemetery will be located on your right side.

  • Bicycle

    From the center of Quincy, head north on Hancock Street until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street and continue until you reach the Quincy Bay. Follow the waterfront on the bike path, then make your way to the MBTA station, and take the train to Salem as described in the train options. Once in Salem, bike from the station northwest on Washington Street, turn right onto Derby Street, and left onto Howard Street to reach Howard Street Cemetery.
