From downtown Lawrence, head east on Mass Street. Continue for about 0.4 miles until you reach 9th Street. Turn left onto 9th Street and walk for another 0.2 miles. You will come to a park area, known as Watson Park. Continue walking to the park's entrance and follow the path towards the back of the park. The Howard Street Cemetery will be located just beyond the park, on Howard Street.

Catch the Lawrence Transit System bus route 7 from the downtown bus stop located at 9th and Massachusetts. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes, then get off at the stop near 10th and Howard. From there, walk a short distance west on Howard Street to reach the Howard Street Cemetery.
