If you're driving to City Hall Plaza from any location in Salem, start by heading south on Washington Square towards Essex Street. Take a left onto Essex Street and continue onto MA-114 E. Merge onto I-95 S via the ramp to Boston. After about 17 miles, use the right two lanes to merge onto I-93 N toward Boston. Take exit 20 for Mass Ave, and keep left at the fork to follow signs for South Station. Continue onto Albany Street, then turn left onto Atlantic Avenue. Follow the signs for Government Center and take a left onto City Hall Square. City Hall Plaza will be on your right.

To reach City Hall Plaza using public transportation, start at the Salem MBTA station. Board the commuter rail train heading toward Boston. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at North Station, transfer to the Green Line subway. Take the Green Line towards Government Center, which is just a few stops away. Exit the train at Government Center, and you will find City Hall Plaza a short walk away. Follow the signs directing you towards City Hall Plaza, which is located at 1 City Hall Square.
