If you're traveling by car from anywhere in the South Coast, head towards Interstate 93 North. Follow the signs for Boston and take the exit for South Boston. Once you exit, continue on William J Day Blvd. Castle Island is located at 2010 William J Day Blvd, Boston, MA 02127. There is a parking lot available, which is free of charge.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take the MBTA bus number 9, which operates from various locations in the South Coast area. Board the bus heading towards Andrew Station. Once you arrive at Andrew Station, transfer to the bus number 10 or 11, which will take you directly to Castle Island. Make sure to check the MBTA schedule for the latest times and possible fare costs. As of now, a standard fare is $2.40.
