Car
If you're driving, head towards Boston from South Shore. Take Route 3 North, which will merge into I-93 North. Continue on I-93 North and take the exit for Exit 20 toward I-90 E/Massachusetts Turnpike. Once on I-90 E, take Exit 22 toward South Station. Follow the signs for Downtown Boston, and then turn onto Tremont Street. Continue until you reach Beacon Street, where you will find the Boston Common Carousel at 45 Beacon St, Boston, MA 02108. Parking is available at nearby garages or on the street, but be sure to check for parking regulations.
Public Transportation
To reach the Boston Common Carousel using public transportation, start by taking the MBTA commuter rail from any station in South Shore towards South Station in Boston. Once you arrive at South Station, exit the station and head towards the 'Red Line' subway entrance. Take the 'Red Line' inbound towards Alewife and get off at Park Street Station. From Park Street, it's a short walk to the Boston Common. Exit the station and head towards Tremont Street, then turn onto Beacon Street. The carousel is located at 45 Beacon St, Boston, MA 02108.
