Car
If you are driving from nearby towns in South Shore, take Route 3 South towards Scituate. Take Exit 13 for Route 139 towards Scituate. Follow Route 139, which will turn into Scituate Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Lighthouse Road. Turn right onto Lighthouse Road, and follow it until you arrive at Scituate Lighthouse, located at 100 Lighthouse Rd, Scituate, MA 02066. There is limited street parking available near the lighthouse.
Public Transportation
To reach Scituate Lighthouse using public transportation, take the MBTA Commuter Rail from Boston's South Station on the Greenbush Line. Disembark at the Scituate Station. From there, you can catch the 220 bus towards Scituate Harbor. Get off at the stop near Lighthouse Road. Walk approximately 0.5 miles down Lighthouse Road to reach the lighthouse. Note that bus fares apply, and schedules may vary, so check the MBTA website for the latest information.
Walking
If you are staying in the Scituate area, you can walk to the lighthouse from Scituate Harbor. Head east along the waterfront, following the scenic path towards Lighthouse Road. This walk is roughly 1 mile and offers beautiful views of the coastline. Once you reach Lighthouse Road, walk north until you see the lighthouse at 100 Lighthouse Rd.
