Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car from anywhere in The Islands, head towards the main roads leading off the islands. Use local roads to connect to the nearest bridge or ferry terminal that leads to the mainland. Once on the mainland, navigate using a GPS or a map app to Storrow Drive in Boston. The Charles River Esplanade is located on Storrow Drive, between the Charles River and the Back Bay area. Look for parking options along Storrow Drive or nearby streets, but be aware that parking may incur fees, and spaces can be limited.
