If you're driving within The Islands, start by locating Route 1A. Follow Route 1A North until you reach Chelsea. Take the exit for Chelsea and merge onto Commandants Way. Continue on Commandants Way, and you will find Mary O'Malley State Park on your left, just after crossing the Chelsea River.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take the MBTA bus route that services The Islands to Chelsea. Look for the bus stop for the 111 or 112 routes. Once you arrive at the Chelsea bus station, transfer to the Silver Line bus service towards South Station. Get off at the stop closest to Commandants Way, and walk towards the park, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop.
