From anywhere in The Islands, head towards Route 1. If you're in the town of Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard, you will first need to take a ferry to Hyannis and then drive to Route 1. Follow Route 1 North until you reach Newburyport. Take the exit for Route 1A towards Plum Island. After crossing the bridge, continue on Plum Island Turnpike, which will lead you directly to Harbor Street. Turn left onto Harbor Street, and follow it to the end where you will find the Plum Island Lighthouse.
