Car
If you are driving from any location in The Islands, head towards Route 146. Follow the signs to Route 146 North and continue for approximately 15 miles. Take exit 4 for Route 20 toward Worcester. Merge onto Route 20 and continue for about 3 miles. Look for Purgatory Rd on your right. Turn onto Purgatory Rd, and the Purgatory Chasm State Reservation will be located on the left at 198 Purgatory Rd, Sutton, MA 01590. There is no entrance fee to the park, but parking may be available for a small fee, so keep some cash handy just in case.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from The Islands to Worcester. Check local bus schedules for times. Once in Worcester, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach Purgatory Chasm State Reservation.
