    Getting There

    Car

    From any location within Wachusett Mountain Ski Area, head east on Mountain Road toward Route 140. Turn right onto Route 140 South. Continue for approximately 2.5 miles. Turn left onto Wachusett Mountain Road, which leads directly to the Mount Wachusett State Reservation. Follow the signs for parking areas at the reservation.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Mount Wachusett via public transportation, first take the Wachusett Mountain Ski Area shuttle service (if available) to the nearest bus stop. From there, take the Worcester Regional Transit Authority (WRTA) bus Route 15 toward Worcester. Get off at the stop at Route 140. From that point, you will need to either walk approximately 1 mile along Route 140 or arrange for a rideshare service to get to the Mount Wachusett State Reservation entrance.

    Bike

    If you're biking from the Wachusett Mountain Ski Area, head east on Mountain Road to Route 140. Turn right onto Route 140 South and continue until you reach Wachusett Mountain Road. Turn left onto Wachusett Mountain Road, which will take you directly to the Mount Wachusett State Reservation. Be cautious as Route 140 can be busy; ensure you're wearing a helmet and following traffic laws.
