Public Transit - Bus
Start at the Waltham MBTA Station (located at 20 Crescent St, Waltham, MA). From the station, take the #70 or #70A bus towards Alewife. Ride for approximately 25 minutes and get off at the Alewife Station. From there, transfer to the Alewife subway station (Red Line). Take the train towards Ashmont, and ride for about 10 minutes. Get off at the Harvard Square Station. Once you're at Harvard Square, exit the station and walk towards Quincy Street. The Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts will be on your left at 24 Quincy St, a short 5-minute walk from Harvard Square.

Begin at the Waltham MBTA Station (20 Crescent St, Waltham, MA). Take the Fitchburg Line train towards North Station. After approximately 25 minutes, get off at the Alewife Station. From Alewife, transfer to the #47 bus towards Alewife. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the Alewife subway station. Transfer to the Red Line towards Ashmont, and ride for approximately 10 minutes to the Harvard Square Station. Upon exiting the station, head towards Quincy Street, and you will find the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts at 24 Quincy St within a 5-minute walk.
