From Waltham, walk to the Waltham MBTA Station on Main Street. Take the inbound train on the Fitchburg Line towards Boston. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at North Station. Once you exit the train, follow signs to the Haymarket Exit. Walk to the Haymarket MBTA Station, and take the Orange Line towards Forest Hills. Get off at the Downtown Crossing Station. From there, transfer to the Red Line towards Ashmont and get off at the South Station. Exit the station and walk to Atlantic Avenue. The Observation Deck at Independence Wharf will be on your right at 470 Atlantic Ave.

If you are near the Waltham Common, start by heading east on Common Street towards Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and continue to the Waltham MBTA Station. From there, follow the same public transit instructions to reach the Observation Deck at Independence Wharf.

From Waltham, you can catch the 70 or 70A bus to Alewife Station. From Alewife, take the Alewife to Alewife bus route to Alewife. Once you arrive, transfer to the Alewife subway line and take the Red Line towards Ashmont. Get off at the South Station. Walk towards Atlantic Avenue, and you'll find the Observation Deck at Independence Wharf at 470 Atlantic Ave.
