From Waltham, walk to the nearest bus stop located at Waltham Common. Catch the MBTA Bus 70 towards Alewife Station. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at Alewife Station and transfer to the Alewife to Alewife bus. After approximately 20 minutes, disembark at the Symphony Hall stop on Massachusetts Avenue. You will find Symphony Hall directly in front of you.

Head to the Waltham MBTA Train Station on Crescent Street. Take the Fitchburg Line train towards North Station. The journey will take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at North Station, transfer to the Green Line subway at Haymarket Station. Take the Green Line 'C' train towards Cleveland Circle and get off at the Symphony stop. From there, it's a short walk to Symphony Hall located at 301 Massachusetts Ave. You should see the hall ahead.

If you are close to the center of Waltham, you can walk to Symphony Hall. Start by heading east on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Moody Street. Turn left onto Moody Street. Follow Moody Street until you reach the Waltham Common. Cross the Common, and continue on to the bus stop at Waltham Common to catch a bus towards Boston (as detailed in the Bus option) or head to the train station for the train option.

If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing service. Start at Waltham Common and head southeast towards the Charles River Bike Path. Follow the bike path along the river towards Boston. After about 4 miles, you will reach the Fenway area. Continue on the bike path and follow the signs towards Symphony Hall. You will arrive at the hall located at 301 Massachusetts Ave.
