Turn left onto Route National 3 and walk for approximately 2 km. You will see signs for Black River Gorges National Park. Follow the signs directing you to Mare Aux Joncs, which will be on your left. The walk will take about 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.

From Black River, walk to the nearest bus stop on Royal Road. Take a bus heading towards Vacoas or Curepipe. Inform the driver you want to get off at the stop for Black River Gorges. The bus ride takes about 20-30 minutes. Once you get off, follow the directional signs towards Mare Aux Joncs, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
