Start your journey in the center of Chamarel village. From the main road, head south towards the Chamarel Waterfall. Continue walking along the pathway that leads to the waterfall viewing area. As you pass the waterfall, keep following the trail which will take you up the hill. After approximately 20 minutes of walking, you will reach a fork in the path. Take the left path that leads you towards the Mare Longue Reservoir. Follow the signs that indicate 'Reservoir Viewpoint'. As you approach the viewpoint, you will see a small hill that provides a stunning view of the reservoir. The entire walk should take around 40-50 minutes depending on your pace.
